A series of exhibitions and events is launched in Southall to celebrate 30 years of 'The Southall Story'.
The event was launched on Friday April 24th at 7.30pm at the Dominion Centre by
musician Kuljit Bhamra, Film Director Shakila Taranum Maan and Pragna Patel (Southall Black Sisters).
Also present was was special guest star and original Southall resident - Film Director Gurinder Chadha.
It contains photographs, recordings, film documentaries, writings and invaluable archive material for the last 30 years of Southall.
The result of the events and exhibitions will be the publication of a book and DVD.
